Two of Vancouver’s notable hospitality industry leaders Sabrine Dhaliwal (The Chickadee Room, Juke) and Amber Bruce (Keefer Bar & Yard) have launched an exclusive series of four virtual talks and seminars hosted by female experts across the health and wellness, finance, and food and beverage industries. These events take place on March 7, and while registration is free, a suggested donation of $20 per session will go directly to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre if you choose to chip in. Food-focused seminars include an Afrocentric plant-based cooking class with Asha Wheeldon, founder of Kula Kitchen.
