India makes it mark at the 2019 Honda Celebration of Light (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

For the first time ever, India was represented in an international fireworks competition — and they certainly delivered at the 2019 Honda Celebration of Light.

Mumbai-based Amir Morani Fireworks filled the sky last night with its stunningly beautiful fireworks synchronization set to the theme of love, with unique special effects that included nautical ‘water bombs’ and heart-shaped fireworks.

Bursts of orange, white, and green colours also clearly represented this show as a Team India production.

It was a peaceful night; no incidents were reported by the Vancouver Police and Transit Police, apart from the usual liquor pour outs.

The next shows are scheduled for Wednesday, July 31 (Firemaster Productions, representing Canada) and Saturday, August 3 (Mirnovec Fireworks, representing Croatia). An air show — the Red Bull Air Race Pilot #84 Pete McLeod — precedes all fireworks displays this year.
