It’s that time of year again, when the wind gets a little cooler, the sun goes down a little earlier, and tens of thousands of kids lament the fact that their freedom summer is over.
That’s right, it’s already time to go back to school.
But while many students across Canada are headed to university halls, that’s simply not the best route for many others. And Indeed.com, Canada’s number 1 job search site, has compiled a list of the 10 best-paying jobs you can get without a degree to show you just that.

While many students are gearing up to start their first day of post-secondary school this September, going the university route is not for everyone.
“Many trades and tech-related roles are in high demand. Employers are facing skills shortages meaning these roles can offer good career prospects or even self-employment opportunities,” said Jodi Kasten, managing director at Indeed Canada. “It’s important that job-seekers are aware of all the options available to them so that they can make informed decisions about career choices.”
Turns out it’s more than just girls who want people with skills.
So go to university by all means, but also know that not going can work out just fine too.
