As I sit here watching the egregiously long marathon coverage on CNN of todays historic event, I see withered old white men exiting the White House. For you see today, today is the day that the Great Black Hope (hype) will lead the free world back into dominance. This ain’t no Spike Lee joint I speak of. This my friends is reality.
As the world continues to spin during these most tumultuous of times, this man will lead us to salvation. This man will make us all rise to the occasion for the greater good of humanity. He will lead us out of these harsh economic times with financial aid never before seen in our time. The first Black President of the United States, the messiah, Barack Obama.What he represents is a beacon of hope. Hope for those downtrodden who are confined to the government created ghettos. Hope for those who have long since forgotten the good in everyone.
Whether you are African-American, Hispanic, Asian or plain old Vanilla White, this man is proof that if you put your mind to it you can achieve great things. Today is the dawn of a new time my friends a time we will tell our children about. Today the real work begins for all of us.
