A beautiful sight for sore eyes has taken over Metropolis at Metrotown.

I Heart Tulips, a massive, one-day floral installation has been set up at the Grand Court.

The art piece includes 10,000 live, red and white tulips, arranged in the shape of a heart, made by the creators of the uber-popular Chilliwack Tulip Festival.

Following that, at 1:30 pm, guests will be able to take their pick of tulips home, for a minimum donation of $5 for five tulips.

Proceeds from the installation will go to Variety – the Children’s Charity, an organization that has been providing direct help to BC children with special needs for more than 50 years.
