Hy's Steakhouse is launching takeout service across Canada

Editorial note April 28, 2020: Hy’s takeout service was slated to launch on April 28 in Vancouver, this launch has been delayed until April 29.

It might not be an everyday meal, but a good, juicy steak from Hy’s has been hitting the special-occasion spot for years, and now the legendary steakhouse is giving patrons the chance to devour its eats at home.

The establishment has locations scattered across the country, which means folks in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto will soon be able to get their hands on the Hy’s at Home menu via contactless payment and touchless pickup at the restaurant’s outposts.

The brand new service offers diners prime Canadian beef and seafood options, along with the classic Hy’s sides, accompaniments, desserts, and the eatery’s famous foil-wrapped cheese toast.

There will be ready-to-eat items and ready-to-grill kits with instructions available too, along with wine, beer, and more boozy beverages up for order and pickup daily from 3 to 8 pm.

Hy’s takeout is launching in Vancouver and Toronto on Wednesday, April 29, and in Calgary on Thursday, April 30.

The steakhouse will be offering 20% off regular-priced food for a limited time.
