A shopper at Pacific Centre Mall in downtown Vancouver was in for a not-so-great sight at Hudson’s Bay this past weekend.
Two months after severe backlash caused the company to remove Trump-inspired headwear from both its stores and website, several ‘Make Canada Great Again’ hats were spotted on display on the mall’s fourth floor.
Really, @hudsonsbay ? Unbelievable, especially for @hudsonsbay pic.twitter.com/dbnknGfIaH

Hudson Bay acted swiftly, removing the products as soon as they were made aware that they were on the floor. In a statement to Daily Hive, Hudson’s Bay apologized to its customers for the error:
This product was permanently removed from our stores and digital channels in October. This recent sighting was an isolated error in one location and we immediately removed the product once we became aware. It is never our intention to offend and we sincerely apologize for this oversight. Our customers are our top priority and we work hard to provide the shopping experience they have come to love from Hudson’s Bay.
One thing’s for sure, Canada is great — and these hats have nothing to do with it.
