HUB Cycling introduces virtual "Go by Bike Week" to Metro Vancouver
HUB Cycling is encouraging cyclists of all ages and skill levels to take part in “Go by Bike Week.”
The event runs from now until May 31, and is a digital, physically-distant take on the organization’s popular “Bike to Work Week.” It’s tailored for those who are still commuting and exercising by bike, as well as those who are trying it out for the first time.
“Go by Bike Week” consists of a free, virtual series of events. Participants can take advantage of scavenger hunts, free yoga classes, and mobility workshops. There are also plenty of digital classes like tips for purchasing an e-bike, how to properly fit and purchase a helmet, and maintenance Q&A.
Not to mention, there are plenty of prizes to be won such as gift certificates, apparel, snack packs, and workout gear.

Participating in Go by Bike Week is easy. Simply register for an account and log a trip. Logged trips will enter participants for prizes and help give local leaders a better idea of how and where they can improve cycling conditions.
You can still participate, even if you don’t have a bike. HUB Cycling and Mobi by Shaw Go are offering free 24-hour ride passes for registered participants.
More information on events, prizes, and how to participate can be found on HUB Cycling’s website.
