Show your true colours at the Holi Colour Festival 2016

Jul 12 2016, 4:55 am

The Holi Colour Festival returns to Surrey on August 1 to add a wash of pigment into your life.

A day full of colour, music, dance, vendors, food, and stuff for kids, the Holi Colour Festival promises fun for people of all ages from just $5.

Holi is celebrated with special importance in the north of India, solemnizing the love of the goddess Radha and god Krishna.

The Indian tradition reminds us to colour our life with love, faith, and a generous spirit, and to give and receive – mostly, though, it’s just a great time!

As well as the spraying of brightly coloured powder (to recall the love of Krishna and his devotees), Surrey’s Colour Festival will also include shows by international artists Malini Taneja, TK and Namrock, and SriKology.
