Who knew hockey sticks could be used to keep SkyTrain moving?
As it turns out, hockey sticks are being used by TransLink staff to clear ice and snow buildup in the gaps of the train doors.
It is the perfect effective device for the problem at hand! A Canadian solution for [typically Eastern] Canadian weather.

Over the past few days, train doors clogged with ice and snow have been unable to properly close, making this one of the leading reasons behind the delays on Expo Line and Millennium Line.
During this snowfall event, both lines have been operating with drivers on each train as an added precaution, and so far today trains have been operating far more smoothly, even with reduced service.
