H&M Announces Clothing Line with Coachella

With killer music festivals dotting our spring and summer calendars, it’s no surprise that many brands have introduced clothing collections specifically for festival attendees.

It’s amazing how we’ve managed to create a brand new ‘in-between’ fashion season focused on music festivals, with brands both large and small offering festival garb at the ready. Swedish retailer, H&M is taking it up a notch though and introducing its first co-branded line, H&M Loves Coachella. H&M will sell the collection in approximately 350 stores across North America on March 19th, worldwide on March 26th, as well as online.

The love affair is nothing new though. H&M is now in its sixth season as a Coachella sponsor and has a strong presence on-site each year. In fact, last year the brand hosted a secret party “H&M Loves Music” bash to announce their designer collaboration with Alexander Wang.

The collection is serving up ‘festival season’ staples and bohemian-inspired pieces for both women and men, ranging from $4.95 to $49.95. Inspired by Coachella, the line will include graphic tops, fringe, lace, rompers, crop tops, shorts and wide legged pants for women, and graphic shirts and shorts for men.

If you were lucky enough to score tickets to Coachella before they sold out in 40 minutes, you will get access to their pop-up shop on-site where you can buy the exclusive collection, take a break from the festival grounds and be part of an interactive experience.

Although the festival is sold out, H&M will give away several all-inclusive trips to Coachella throughout the month of March in stores and over social media. If you bring in a bag of unwanted clothing to an H&M store you will get a voucher for $5 off your next purchase of $30 or more and be entered to win a weekend to Coachella. If you can’t attend the festival this year at least you can look the part!
