Hi Genki Restaurant is located at 6680 Southoaks Crescent in Burnaby, and it’s in the same building as Nikkei Place senior care centre and the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre.

This spot has been a hit with locals and visitors alike for years.

It offers a selection of homestyle Japanese eats such as a Seafood Platter, Spicy Karaage Don, Pork Katsu Curry, Bento Boxes, and Assorted Tempura to name a few.

People on Instagram love this spot and many say its food reminds them of their travels to Japan, which is a big compliment coming from savvy Metro Vancouver foodies.

It’s not just the grub that gets the praise, Hi Genki is affordable and gives great portions to boot.
