Vancouver's largest Oktoberfest party to offer free admission this week

Harvestland, the largest harvest festival in Canada, is days away from making its return to Vancouver.

The exciting Oktoberfest celebration will be taking over the PNE from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 20.

Visitors can expect an enchanting selection of activities, live performances, gorgeous installations, and naturally, some very tasty treats.

To celebrate the start of the festival, the PNE has announced that it will be offering free admission to Harvestland for the first two hours on opening day (4 to 6 pm), Thursday, October 10.

In addition, this weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy free rides on Saturday, October 12 between 12 and 1 pm.

If you’re looking for an adults-only Oktoberfest celebration, Harvest Haus, which is open to visitors over the age of 19, will take place on evenings from October 10 to 12, and October 18 to 19.

The adult party will include a keg tapping opening ceremony, authentic German fare, wondrous dancing, and live music.

Tickets to both Harvestland and Harvest Haus are on sale now and be purchased online via Ticket Leader.

Tickets to Harvestland start at $16 for general admission and $47 for a family pass (two adults and three children). Tickets to Harvest Haus start at $27 for general admission and $42 for VIP.
