Harvestland, Canada’s largest harvest festival and Vancouver’s most lively Oktoberfest celebration is almost here.

When the 10-day festival returns to the Lower Mainland on Thursday, October 10, guests can look forward to an enchanting festival full of activities and harvest magic.

This year, they’ve partnered up with the PNE and will be taking over Hastings Park, to bring a larger, more spectacular celebration.

“We wanted to do something truly spectacular for the fifth anniversary of Harvest Haus,” says event organizer Tyson Villeneuve. “By continuing our collaboration with Collective X and partnering with the PNE for Harvestland, we’ll be launching the largest harvest event in the country.”

To get you excited, here are some of the must-visit attractions at this year’s Harvestland.

The Bavarian Village

Harvestland

The Bavarian Village is the mix of a medieval renaissance and harvest gaming area. Visitors will be able to duel your friends in swordplay, fire off a pumpkin slingshot, and participate in lettuce cutting.

Woodland Den

The Woodland Den is a whimsical maze with secret areas that are waiting to be discovered. The puzzling activation and its twisting turns are inspired by a fall forest, harvest fields, and mystical fairytales. Participants can also visit Harvestland’s logger sports area and try their hand at axe throwing!

Kinder Farm

Kinder Farm is an interactive, educational learning installation, complete with hay bales, farm discovery stations, pony rides, and tractor rides.
