A massive Oktoberfest celebration comes to Vancouver next week
Fall has officially arrived in Vancouver, and the festivities are starting off strong with a huge Oktoberfest celebration happening next week — Harvest Haus!
Vancouver’s take on the traditional Oktoberfest is a fun-filled weekend on Friday, Oct. 3 and Saturday, Oct. 4, at the PNE Forum.
The German-style beer festival features epic entertainment, delicious food, and lots and lots of bier. Tickets are on sale now online, but you’ll have to hurry because they’re already 85 per cent sold out.
And yes, lederhosen is highly recommended.

“The ninth annual Harvest Haus is returning and we’re rolling out the barrels,” said organizers online. “Combining modern fare with authentic European harvest traditions, gather your crew and come let loose at what has become known as one of the most fun events of the year.
“Join international and local brewers, vintners, chefs and entertainers at their best as they showcase new seasonal flavours along with the Oktoberfest classics you love. Tap that keg.”

Each general admission ticket includes entry, access to the Harvest Haus vendors, and a souvenir beer stein. VIP Tables are also available at the 19+ event.
You can expect to dine on freshly made pretzels accompanied by grainy mustard and sauerkraut, as well as sausage and other treats available for purchase in the marketplatz.

Over 25 European and craft biers, wines, and spirits will be available to discover. Traditional oompah bands and live DJs will complete the party atmosphere each day.
This highly anticipated Vancouver Oktoberfest event has super-limited tickets, so if you’re hoping to snag a table for you and some friends, you’d better act fast before the stein runs dry.
