Harbour Air is gearing up for what could be the busiest summer season it has ever experienced in B.C.
In line with what is expected to be a wild summer, due in part to the FIFA World Cup, Harbour Air has introduced some upgrades.
The B.C. floatplane airline that offers scheduled, tour, and chartered services announced two days ago that it was modifying its planes, specifically the windows, while admitting that no one asked for the changes.
“But we installed them anyway,” Harbour Air said in an Instagram video.
“Our panoramic window modification was designed, approved, and installed right here in our hangar (and we’ve licensed it to Otter operators around the world!)🌍 Flying over BC’s coast, you deserve to see it from every angle,” the airline said in the video.
The changes will make one of the most scenic journeys in the province even more… scenic.

In response, most of the airline’s followers praised the proactivity.
“You see, proactiveness like this is what keeps customers happy,” someone said.
The floatplane airline was also listening and channelling its inner Oprah in response to some questions people had.
Someone asked, “Is that a twin otter with bubble windows? I know all your single otters ahd bubble windows, but are you doing it with the twins too? Great airline.”
Harbour Air responded, “You get a bubble and you get a bubble.”
Other followers had more suggestions, like the IG user who said, “Full clear bottom or I’m not going.”
The floatplane airline’s social media handler didn’t dismiss it entirely, saying, “Now this would be cool.”
Harbour Air has been super busy over the last year and recently announced a historic B.C. expansion with some brand-new routes, including the return of direct flights between Vancouver and Seattle, which began last month.
Have you ever flown with Harbour Air? What kind of dream upgrade would you suggest to the local floatplane airline?
