You may have heard of Delta’s Tandoori Flame, aka North America’s largest Indian buffet.

The popular Canadian family of restaurants has a new concept set to open this summer, but it’s already making an impact on the community ahead of its opening.

Happy Singh Eats is fast-casual slated to open in Summer 2020. The new concept will feature 160 seats inside and 72 outside on a covered patio, along with 10+ live food stations.

But before they open to the public, the folks behind Happy Singh have been doing their part in feeding hardworking local healthcare workers.

This week the Happy Singh team took over the kitchen at Tandoori Flame Delta and began preparing meals for medical staff at Delta Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital, including their Emergency Room.

The eatery is providing around 100 to 200 individually wrapped meals daily.

“This is just our small gesture of appreciation for all healthcare workers are doing to keep us safe,” explained Managing Director Shraey Gulati. “We all have to do our part.”
