Happy Day Cafe in Richmond has officially reopened (PHOTOS)

It’s been around a year since Hong Kong-style cafe Happy Date Bakery & Restaurant closed temporarily for renovations, and the wait for those killer fresh pineapple buns is over!

Now named the Happy Day Cafe, the refreshed spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, reopened as of February 20.

This means patrons can head in and enjoy food and drinks such as Hot HK Style Milk Tea, congee, Peking duck, lobster, and more from this massive menu.

While the self-serve bakery section of the former cafe is gone, pineapple bun lovers can still enjoy seven different varieties from the lunch menu.

Happy Day Cafe’s sister restaurant is located at 3312 Kingsway
Vancouver, so you have double the chance to get in on these popular eats.

Happy Day Cafe Richmond is open ​Sunday to Thursday and holidays from 6:30 am to 11 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 6:30 am to midnight.
