1 dead, 1 injured after shots fired in Surrey: RCMP

An incident in Surrey’s Whally/City Centre neighbourhood on Sunday night has left one man dead and one man injured, according to  RCMP.

In a release, Surrey RCMP say police were called to the 13600-block of 114 Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired on just before 11 pm on Sunday.


Upon arrival, police found one man dead and another injured from apparent gunshot wounds. The injured man was transported to hospital and is in serious condition. The victims are known to police and it is believed to be a targeted incident.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is engaged and is investigating the incident.
