Grouse Mountain is going to be buzzing with activity as it kicks its summer season this weekend.
The Mountain’s staff announced today that, Victoria Day long weekend will mark the return of several summer favourites including the World Famous Lumberjack Show, Birds in Motion Demonstration, and the 5-line Mountain Zipline Adventure.
“We’re excited to kick-off another summer season in our mountaintop playground with the return of a wide variety of summer activities this long-weekend,” said Julia Grant, Grouse Mountain communications manager, in a release.
This summer, Grouse will also be adding the first of two new Scenic Mountain Biking trails with two-hour guided tours operated by Sea to Sky Adventure Company. The 10-kilometre trail will offer riders a cross-country biking experience.
Visitors can also get up close with the mountain’s resident Grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola in their mountaintop refuge.
