If it seems like there are simply not enough hours in the day to satisfy all your skiing or snowboarding desires, why not hit the slopes all night long during a special event at Grouse Mountain this weekend?

Yes, Grouse Mountain is once again opening its doors all day and all night for its annual 24 Hours of Winter event.

The event begins on Saturday, February 22, and runs right through until Sunday, February 23, with lifts spinning the whole time.

“We’re excited to once again open our doors to around-the-clock winter fun at Grouse Mountain for 24 Hours of Winter,” said Grouse Mountain Events Manager, Mallory Newman. “This unique event is an annual favourite with locals and visitors alike enjoying all-night skiing and riding plus a variety of other special activities showcasing the best of winter here at the Peak of Vancouver.”

A legacy event that began with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, 24 Hours of Winter kicks off Saturday at 8 am and runs through 10 pm on Sunday with a variety of special activities including all-night skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating; snowshoe tours; a spectacular torch parade; special apres celebration; morning yoga; and much more. New to the schedule this year is a unique GLOWshoe tour as well as an exciting fireworks display.

A complimentary shuttle will be available from midnight to 7 am on Sunday between Grouse Mountain and key North Vancouver locations.
