Vancouver Goldeneyes closing in on Pacific Coliseum sellout ahead of first game

The Vancouver Goldeneyes take flight for the first time this week.

Vancouver’s new PWHL team will play its inaugural game at the freshly renovated Pacific Coliseum on Friday, Nov. 21 against their expansion cousin, the Seattle Torrent.

The game promises to be a memorable one in front of a packed house.

Ticket sales appear to be going great, with fewer than 30 tickets available for sale on Monday afternoon.

“There are very limited seats remaining available for purchase, with fans highly encouraged to buy seats now if they’d like to attend the home opener,” a Goldeneyes spokesperson told Daily Hive.

In addition to single-game tickets, the Goldeneyes offer season ticket memberships, partial season packages, and three-game mini packs. Season tickets can be had for as low as $351, including taxes and fees, while mini packs can be had for as low as $80.

It remains to be seen how the Goldeneyes will perform on the ice, but they appear to have a loaded lineup and oddsmakers are picking them as championship favourites, ahead of Seattle and the original six PWHL franchises.
