Voting for Vancouver’s 2018 Golden Owl awards are open and you can vote for your favourite hospitality experiences in the city.
What began as the Vancouver Nightlife Awards in 2004, evolved into The Golden Owl Awards in order to honour the best of the city’s hospitality industry.
The awards depend on the choice of Vancouverites — so you play a big part in who wins.
You can head to the Golden Owl website and cast your vote for favourites in the following categories:
- Best comedy experience
- Best cocktail experience
- Best food experience
- Best brunch experience
- Best brewery experience
- Best service experience
- DJ event of the year
- Manager of the year
- Nightclub of the year
- Hospitality group of the year
- Social event of the year
- Best atmosphere
- Best Bartending personality
- Best late night lounge
- Best hotel lounge
- Best new destination
- Best subculture venue
- Best live music venue
- Best pub
- Breakout artist of the year
Voting closes at midnight on November 10, so be sure to share your favourite choices before then.
The award ceremony takes place at the at the Harbour Convention Centre (formerly Edgewater Casino) on Monday, November 19. Limited tickets are available online.
