Sample hundreds of free products at Canada's largest gluten free event

The new year is an excellent time to start a new healthy eating regimen (or pick up where you left off before the holidays), and the Gluten Free Expo is here to set you on the right path.

Over the weekend of January 11 to 12, Canada Place will host the top gluten-free companies as they sample and sell all your favourite treats, from pizza and beer, to perogies and cereal, and everything in between.

In addition to all of the delicious edible products available, the Gluten Free Expo will also have experts on hand (such as registered dieticians, doctors, and professional chefs) ready to share their knowledge.

Exhibitors confirmed for the 2020 Vancouver Gluten Free Expo include Wholly Veggie!, SAN-J authentic Asian products, and Promise Gluten Free foods. The three companies were recognized by Gluten Free Canada as the 2019 Products of the Year: Wholly Veggie for their cauliflower pizza; Ross Chocolates for their milk chocolate with quinoa; San-J for their organic teriyaki sauce; and Promise Gluten Free for their rustic white sourdough loaf.

Joining them will be more than 100 other exhibitors and vendors.

This is the first year that the Gluten Free Expo will feature an award ceremony for Gluten Free Canada Product of the Year 2019. Catch the announcements at the Vancouver Expo on Sunday, January 12.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance, which will save you 20% on the price you’d pay at the door. With humble beginnings, the Gluten Free Expo started as a small group of dedicated individuals gathered in a Vancouver community centre with the goal of collecting gluten-free donations for those in need (the higher cost means these items are rarely donated to the Food Bank) and to share information while connecting those living with gluten intolerance.

Today, they’ve grown into an annual event taking place in three cities across western Canada, educating individuals and families, and providing access to healthy products they might otherwise never try.
