Metro Vancouver gas prices expected to go up this weekend

Nothing good lasts forever — including cheap gas prices.

According to Dan McTeague of GasBuddy.com, Metro Vancouver drivers should fill up today because gas prices are expected to increase by six cents per litre over the weekend.

“Hey #Vancouver, Lower Mainland and now #Victoria – heed the warning and FILL UP TODAY. Tomorrow it’s UP 6 cts/l and more on Sunday,” said McTeague on Twitter.

The increase comes after a drop in prices throughout the Lower Mainland in November.

Currently, gas prices in Vancouver are sitting at an average of 126.9 cents per litre. Take advantage of the cheap gas now, because it definitely won’t last long.
