The 4-1 win was a silver lining to an otherwise disappointing year for the Caps. There were a couple of reasons to celebrate afterwards because not only did the Whitecaps win, but they claimed their sixth Cascadia Cup and kept Portland from sneaking into the playoffs on the very last day of the season.
