Body found near Fraser River determined to be homicide

The Vancouver Police Department have determined that a body found wrapped in a sleeping bag was a homicide.

The body was found along the banks of the Fraser River on Monday afternoon. An autopsy has concluded that this is Vancouver’s fourth murder of the year.

Police say they believe this was targeted and that Vancouverites aren’t at risk.
