Fly to Los Angeles or Las Vegas for under $200 return this fall
If Vancouver’s fall weather lately has made you want to fly to the US to chase some sun, now might be the perfect time to put that plan into action.
According to the deal-hunting gurus over at YVR Deals, you can fly round-trip from Vancouver to Los Angeles for $174 roundtrip, including taxes.
This particular flight deal comes through non-stop Wesjet flights and applies to select flights this month, as well as December.
Booking this flight is pretty straightforward:
1. Go to Priceline
2. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Los Angeles (LAX)
Try one of the following date combinations:
November 21 to November 28, 29
November 28, 29 to December 5, 6, 12, 13
Just a quick note, that because the flights are through Priceline, which uses $USD, the flights will appear as $135 USD roundtrip including taxes.
However, this works out to $174 CAD roundtrip when booked using a Canadian credit card, and including the typical credit card foreign exchange fee.

But what if you’re looking to for sun in a vacation spot that isn’t Los Angeles?

Yes, WestJet has also dropped the price of some of their non-stop flights in November and December from Vancouver to Los Angeles, California down to $199 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
But these trips might require a little more planning, as there aren’t any two to three night trips offered, only week long trips.
