A boat anchored in the middle of False Creek, in front of Edgewater Casino and the Olympic Village, began to take in water and sink this morning.
Passersby noticed that the boat was trouble just after 9 a.m. this morning. Vancouver Police and the Coast Guard responded to the scene and have determined that nobody was on the vessel.
Officials are performing an environmental assessment before taking action to remove it from the area.
