Fire at Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby

Fire rescue crews in Burnaby responded to a small blaze at Ocean View Cemetery late this afternoon.

Kyle Lim told Vancity Buzz the blaze began at approximately 5:20 p.m. There does not appear to be any major damage, although a number of bushes and trees have been decimated by the fast moving flames.

Firefighters arrived to the scene quickly and were able to contain it within minutes. The cause of the fire is not known.
