Field & Social is opening a new Mount Pleasant location on December 16

Field & Social, Vancouver’s original salad shop, is officially opening its third location — and soon at that.

Slated to open on December 16, the new 1,600-sq-ft space is located at 18 East 5th Avenue, with notable neighbours such as Purebread Mount Pleasant and Tacofino Ocho, to name a few.

Field & Social’s newest outpost will offer customers its signature selection of healthy, nutritious grub, plus some Mount Pleasant-location exclusives like the grab-and-go snack packs with hummus, crackers, and freshly chopped veggies.

Greens for the salads and bowls are cut fresh every morning, and all dressings are made in-house (which isn’t hard to see once your beautiful bowl is in front of you).

Designed by JDG Design, the Mount Pleasant salad shop has the brand’s signature minimalist vibes that patrons have been enjoying in its Dunsmuir and Royal Centre locations.

This particular shop has a big communal table in the centre of the room where 16 people can chow down.

“When we started scouting for a new location, Mount Pleasant was on the top of our list,” says Barbora Samieian, owner and creator of Field & Social. “It has cultivated a vibrant and tight-knit community of businesses and families, a neighbourhood we definitely want to be part of and immerse ourselves in. We can’t wait to meet new and old friends very soon.”

Field & Social Mount Pleasant will offer its regular menu, plus the snack packs and newly introduced healthy cookies, along with a selection of beverages.

From December 16 to December 20, Field & Social Mount Pleasant will be donating $1 from every salad sold to Mealshare.

Once it’s officially open, you can enjoy Field & Social Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 10:30 am to 4 pm.

You might find this new spot open starting December 12 if you happen to stroll by.
