A notable moment on Twitter?
Joe Zee (Creative Director at ELLE Magazine) retweeted me once!
Your best Tweet:
“Smart is sexy. Don’t dumb yourself down #themoreyouknow”
But it could also be one of my many transit related tweets.
What did you want to be growing up?
I really wanted to be an actress, but then that evolved into a drama teacher, then a softball player, and finally a softball coach.
If you could have dinner with 1 person (live or dead) who would it be?
Derek Jeter. I love his positive attitude and that he’s such a great role model. He’s probably the most self-aware professional athlete there is. I’d want to talk shop with him, review tape and pick apart at-bats, talk about different types of drills, and then see if he wanted to hit the cages.
Your claim to fame:
My sarcasm and sense of humour – online and in real life. I love telling a good story.
Also, I played softball for Team Canada, so I’ve had some people tell me that they’ve seen me play, which is kind of strange.
Do you know of a hidden gem in our city?
There’s a great hole-in-the-wall Mexican place on Denman that makes the best traditional margaritas. It’s totally a hidden gem since I don’t even remember the name of it!
If you were a superhero, who would you be and why?
Sailor Jupiter. She’s one tough cookie.
If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why?
Broccoli because it’s adaptable – you can eat it so many ways: raw, steamed, boiled, baked, in soup, sitr-fried.
Recommend a fellow Twitterer that deserves some recognition?
@thevagablond. Fellow Vancouverite I met via Twitter (and then in real life) who’s traveling the world. I live vicariously through her tweets.
Describe yourself in 3 words:
