Name and Twitter handle: Sophia Cheng @chengsophia

Occupation (optional):  Freelance publicist. I work with companies in various industries, such as lifestyle, food, travel, technology, music, and health.

A notable moment on Twitter?
Watching all the Canucks games during their incredible 2011 playoff run while tweeting at the same time! There is definitely a sense of community in the Twitterverse. You can feel the excitement, sadness, and happiness reading and replying to tweets.

Your best Tweet:
Any of my food craving tweets because they always incite such a hungry and salivating response from my fellow food-loving twitterers! For example, gummy bears, ramen, spaghetti and meatballs, and most recently, Butter Beer from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

What did you want to be growing up?
I wanted to be a teacher in elementary school, and a neurosurgeon in high school. PR is definitely my calling!

If you could have dinner with 1 person (live or dead) who would it be?
My great-grandmother. She watched me grow up during the most critical years of my childhood. It would be so awesome to chat with her about everything!

Your claim to fame:
I think it’s my undeniable love for food. I truly talk about it 24/7 on Twitter, especially popcorn!

Do you know of a hidden gem in our city?
There are many hidden gems in Vancouver, but a not so obvious one is the little cafeteria in the Student’s Union Building at Langara College. Why? Because they make the best breakfast buns! Fresh toasted sesame bun with a fried egg, ham, and cheese – served hot. There is nothing quite like it in the morning. Did I mention it’s only $3.15, including tax?

If you were a superhero, who would you be and why?
Batgirl because she fights crime in Gotham City with Batman, my favourite superhero. She later becomes Oracle, helping other superheroes with her technologically savvy ways.

If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why?
I asked @rogerlam, and he says I am most like a green pea! There is always more than one pea in a pod. I like to be around people and be part of a community. I am also fiercely loyal and will do whatever I can to protect my loved ones. Thick (but not too thick) skin is important.

Recommend a fellow Twitterer that deserves some recognition?
It would be Jenn Wallis also know as @damewallis. Not only is she witty, sharp, and interesting on Twitter, she also has a great blog and tweets out lots of marketing and communications jobs nationwide.

Describe yourself in 3 words:
Positive. Happy. Hungry.
