WATCH: First three minutes of Fear the Walking Dead released

Do you fear the walking dead? You should.

AMC released the first three minutes of Fear the Walking Dead, the companion series to the mega-smash-hit zombie-shooting, people-screaming-at post-apocalyptic drama. The show features a group of people struggling for their lives in Los Angeles at the very beginning of the zombie apocalypse.

The show was filmed in Vancouver and Los Angeles, and will see a full release on Sunday, August 23 at 8 p.m.
