Father of murdered Victoria realtor Lindsay Buziak will appear on Dr. Phil tomorrow

The father of murdered Victoria realtor Lindsay Buziak will appear on popular daytime talk show Dr. Phil on Friday.

The 24-year-old was killed on February 2, 2008, while showing a home to a couple in Gordon Head, a suburb of Victoria. Her boyfriend, Jason Zailo, found her in the home with multiple stab wounds.

The unsolved murder has become the focus of many true crime websites, blogs, and amateur internet detectives.

Now Lindsay’s father, Jeff, will be speaking out about his journey to find justice for his daughter with Dr. Phil.

According to Friday’s show synopsis, Jeff believes that police know who the killer is.

“Lindsay was a 24-year-old real estate agent when she was targeted and brutally murdered. Lindsay’s father, Jeff, says he is willing to die in pursuit of justice for Lindsay, so much so, he says he once had a gang member pull a gun on him and threaten his life. Find out why Jeff says he believes police are covering up who killed his daughter,” reads the show summary.

In February 2018,  Saanich police released a 10-year statement regarding Buziak’s death.

“After 10-years of work, we regret that success has not been achieved to date in our investigation. As with other pre-planned and targeted murders, the perpetrators and/or conspirators have taken steps to avoid apprehension by police,” reads the statement.

“We believe multiple persons have personal and first-hand knowledge regarding the murder of Lindsay Buziak and have withheld this information from police.”
