Following one of the hottest summers in recent memory, fall has officially arrived in Metro Vancouver.

The season brings upon colourful painting-like landscapes; weather that takes boots, thick sweaters and rain coats out of the closets; and the sight of dew drops shimmering on the morning grass. And this is in addition to the awakening of the distinct sweet scents of fall – the musty smell from the rustling and falling of the leaves.

It been almost two years since this kid was born. I still remember a group of us bombarding the hospital to visit Jenny and Jeremy before visiting hours were over. We weren’t too sure when Jaden was coming so we headed to Tim Hortons where we waited until we got a video call from Jeremy. It was a long wait but I think we would’ve stayed there for however long until we found out that he was out. They grow up so fast.
