ORIGINAL STORY:
Vancouver’s Expo Line is facing a delay in service this morning, with one track being shut down near Commercial-Broadway Station.
SkyTrains heading in both directions are alternating through one side of the guideway, meaning that you may be stuck waiting at a few stops before getting into the city.
#SkyTrain Due to a track issue near Commercial-Broadway Station, Expo Line trains are single tracking between Nanaimo & Stadium Stns using the Eastbound platforms. If you would like an alternative route plan, please call: 604-953-3333. Thank-you for your patience. ^DA

A release from TransLink states that the issue arose from a switch error. Service is still available, albeit at a slower rate, and a westbound bus bridge has been set up between Nanaimo and Stadium Stations to help with the congestion.
Those taking the Millennium or Canada Lines will not be affected by the delays, and TransLink is currently working to resolve the Expo Line issue.
The delays began shortly after 7 am. There is no estimated time for its resolution.
