Sep 2 2020, 6:08 pm

After warning of the potential for coronavirus exposure at the Yaletown restaurant on August 26, Vancouver Coastal Health officials have expanded the advisory for patrons of Banter Room on Mainland Street once again.

The health authority expanded the warning dates on August 31.

Now, VCH has expanded that warning to include all those who visited the establishment from August 20 and up to – and including – August 27. The potential exposure took place “during operating hours.”

People who visited Banter Room on the dates mentioned should monitor themselves for coronavirus symptoms for 14 days and get tested if they begin feeling ill. Anyone who gets tested should self-isolate while they wait for results.

Common symptoms of coronavirus include cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, and loss of smell or taste.
