Ex-Vancouver Canucks captain Hughes makes appearance at Morgan Wallen concert
Quinn Hughes has been living the high life ever since he left the Vancouver Canucks.
The former Canucks captain has been busy rubbing shoulders with celebrities this summer. Just last week, he was pictured hanging out with Hollywood superstar Jessica Alba at the FIFA World Cup Final with his brother Jack Hughes, and now he’s appearing on-stage with one of the biggest country music stars.
During a concert in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Saturday night, Morgan Wallen brought out the Hughes brothers during his walkout on stage. The country music superstar wore one of the brothers’ Olympic gold medals, while Jack waved a Team USA Olympic jersey and Quinn walked alongside the two in a J.J. McCarthy Michigan Wolverines jersey.
Hughes is certainly getting a lot of mileage out of the Olympic victory over Canada, which came just over five months ago.

Hughes quickly went from being a fan-favourite among the Canucks faithful to being one of the fanbase’s most despised players after his controversial departure. As captain of the Canucks, Hughes oversaw a few successful seasons in Vancouver, but that was marred by in-fighting among teammates and a few dismal results near the end of his tenure.
Ever since leaving Canada’s West Coast, however, things seemed to have turned around in a big way for Hughes. He became an important piece on a Stanley Cup-contending Minnesota Wild team and was critical in helping the United States to an Olympic gold medal.
He even managed to find a way onto Saturday Night Live shortly after the Olympics, something that is exceedingly rare for NHL players.
It remains to be seen which team Hughes will ink his next contract with, but wherever it is, Canucks fans will be keeping close tabs on their former captain.
