Ex-Canucks captain Hughes hangs with Hollywood icon at FIFA World Cup final
Life has been pretty good for Quinn Hughes since leaving the Vancouver Canucks.
The former Norris Trophy winner made it to the NHL playoffs for just the third time in his career with the Minnesota Wild. He also won gold with the United States at the 2026 Olympics.
Looks like his offseason has been pretty busy as well.
Hughes was recently in Czechia to attend the wedding of his former teammate, Filip Hronek, on July 11. One week later, he was in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to watch the FIFA World Cup final.
No word on what he had a better time doing, watching the final or hanging with one of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba was among a mini-village of celebrities who were spotted at the FIFA World Cup final.
While you’d expect her to hang with other A-list celebs, the 45-year-old posted a photo of her hanging with all three Hughes brothers.

The Sin City star also posted photos with her boyfriend, Danny Ramirez, along with YouTube star Mr. Beast.
While Hughes and his brothers were spotted up with the A-listers, one of their U.S. Olympic teammates was filmed down in the crowd, letting loose.
Dylan Larkin was seen near pitch level during the finals, alongside Trevor Zegras, Cole Caufield, Filip Forsberg, and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

While both Larkin and Hughes seem to be enjoying their offseasons, the two stars are definitely causing some stress in their respective fanbases.
Larkin requested a trade earlier this offseason, but remains with the Detroit Red Wings for now.
Hughes, meanwhile, is eligible for an extension with the Minnesota Wild. While his current head coach, Jon Hynes, seems confident, others in the fan base don’t share that confidence.
