Dates revealed for FREE outdoor movies in Stanley Park this summer

One of the most popular summertime events in the city is back as free outdoor movies return to Stanley Park this summer to celebrate its 12th anniversary.
The Evo Summer Cinema Series at Stanley Park will take place every Tuesday and July in August starting on July 7, 2020. Hundreds of people gather for the weekly event that’s held at the Grand Lawn at Ceperley Meadows near Second Beach.
Exact dates for the Evo Summer Cinema are as follows:
- July 7, 14, 21, and 28
- August 4, 11, 18, and 25
Similar to last year, attendees are invited to bring a blanket or chair and lawn seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. VIP seating will also be available online via Eventbrite and offers a front-row seat to enjoy the movie.
The full movie lineup is set to be voted on during the month of May and announced in early June.Ā Last year’s lineup saw films like Wayne’s World, Beetlejuice, Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Finding Nemo.
