Black Friday is around the corner, and Best Buy and Evo Car Share are doing something to ring it in for users of the car share service in Metro Vancouver.
According to a statement we received from Best Buy, the tech retailer will be putting a $100 Best Buy gift card in 50 randomly selected Evo rides across the region.
The cars will be in Evo Home Zones, which include Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster, on Friday, Nov. 28.
It sort of sounds like getting a golden ticket like in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
If you’re one of the lucky riders, you can use your $100 gift card either online or in-store.
“Shoppers can also create a free My Best Buy account to access exclusive deals and enjoy extended price protection throughout the holiday season,” a Best Buy rep said in a statement.
Along with the Best Buy promotion, Evo Car Share is having its own promotion. If you join Evo with the promo code BESTBUY, you can get your membership waived with 45 driving minutes.
If you are an Evo Car Share user, it might not hurt to book a car this Friday.
Evo is no stranger to deals and promotions. Earlier this year, the car share company kicked off an affiliate program that allowed you to earn free Evo money for referrals that could’ve landed participants a maximum of $2,000.
Black Friday deals have already kicked off at loads of retailers and online marketplaces. That includes Best Buy, as the tech giant’s Black Friday sale is already in full force online and in-store.
It’s not just for goods either, as many airlines are also having Black Friday sales with decent flight discounts.
