Canadian musician Grimes announced over the weekend that she tested positive for COVID-19.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram last Friday, sharing the update alongside art for American singer SZA’s latest single, “Good Days.”

“Finally got COVID but weirdly enjoying the Dayquil fever dream 2021,” she wrote. “This song is so good.”

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, is from Vancouver and attended McGill University in Montreal.

She and her partner, Elon Musk, welcomed their first child last May, initially naming the baby boy X Æ A-12.

Last week, Musk also surpassed Amazon’s Jeff Bezos as the richest person in the world.

Tesla’s share price saw an increase on Thursday big enough to push Musk past Bezos on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The index pegs Musk’s net worth at US$195 billion. Bezos now sits at US$185 billion.
