Thomas Haas has outdone themselves this year, having crafted a seemingly never-ending list of Easter creations. The 2016 collection includes Easter Truffle Eggs, available in dark chocolate ganache with lavender, milk chocolate ganache with passion fruit, and white chocolate infused with tangerine and lime flavours; an Easter Nest, featuring an assortment of chocolate eggs and an adorable mini bunny nestled in a handcrafted chocolate nest; a Truffle Egg Box containing six assorted chocolate truffle eggs in a clear box tied with a ribbon; a Traditional Easter Bunny fashioned from milk, dark or white chocolate; and beautifully handcrafted chocolate boxes filled with an assortment of Easter truffles.

Chez Christophe
Chez Christophe’s 2016 Easter chocolate egg collection includes Eggmont the Mountie (complete with its very own iconic Mountie hat); the new Le Petit Poussin, which features a little chick cracking out from its egg shell; Hop Hop the Bunny, last year’s fan favourite Poulette; and the Caved Egg-Within-An-Egg. Thierry Chocolates
Chef Thierry will be creating a variety of chocolate sculptures for Easter, including a chocolate-filled Easter egg made with 70% Guanaja chocolate by Valhrona. The chocolate sculptures will be available from Good Friday through to Easter Sunday.

Bel Café
Bel Café will be ringing in Easter with seasonal delights from Pastry Chef extraordinaire Wayne Kozinko. The hotel bakery will have hot cross buns available from March 14 through to 27, in addition to entremets made with white chocolate, Chantilly crème, coconut, ginger, and yuzu, which can be purchased in store from March 21 through to 27.

Cadeaux Bakery
For Easter, Powell Street’s Cadeaux Bakery will offer a range of hand-decorated spring-inspired sugar cookies, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes (topped with flowers and birds nests), and a cake feature. Boasting a vanilla base, strawberry compote, and white chocolate mousse Cadeaux’s feature cake will be finished in a vanilla butter cream and topped with a hand-painted stained glass image of a bunny. The bakery will have a few cakes in stock but highly recommends pre-ordering. The shopfront will be closed good Friday but will be open Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Butter Baked Goods
This neighbourhood bakery is celebrating the holiday with Easter bunny-shaped and decorated sugar cookies. French Made Baking
This year French Made Baking is crafting a macaron sculpture with an Easter theme. The base “nest” is a large macaron filled with raspberries and vanilla cream and perched on top are an adorable bunny (with a caramel milk chocolate filling) and a chick macaron (lemon) duo, along with colorful macarons of assorted sizes and flavours.
