The reality of social distancing is setting in, and as time goes on, we can’t help but miss our favourite happy hour spots in Vancouver.
But being stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the best of happy hour. Just this week, Earls announced the launch of its “Happy Hour at Home” menu.
Although the doors may be closed at Earls, the kitchens are still open at select locations, and the limited menu is available for pick-up only, every day from 2 to 5 pm.
This means after-work favourites like the warm spinach and three-cheese dip, margherita pizza, Sante Fe chicken salad, Bigger Better Burger with fries, chicken wings, cajun chicken cheddar sandwich with fries, dynamite roll, and more are still available to order.
And the happy hour doesn’t just apply to food. You can now get drinks with your takeout order, too. All bottles of wine are 50% off, and bottled beer and Nütrl are 20% off. The drink offers apply to all business hours, not just the 2 to 5 pm window.
If you’re like us and you find yourself snacking more than usual these days, try one of the all-day happy hour platters from Earls. They include a selection of bites from the limited menu, plus a six-pack of your choice: Nütrl or beer.
Here’s a look at platter pricing and what you’ll get with your order:
- $25: Happy Hour Platter, which includes warm spinach and three-cheese dip, a dynamite roll, and one pound of Earls wings (hot or salt and pepper)
- $25: Pizza and Wings Platter, which includes a margherita pizza and two pounds of Earls wings (hot or salt and pepper)
- $33: Pizza and Wings Platter, plus two beers or Nutrls (lime, grapefruit or lemon)
- $40: Happy Hour Platter, plus a six-pack of beer or Nutrl (lime, grapefruit or lemon)
FYI, both Happy Hour Platters and Pizza + Wing Platters are available to order for pick-up all day, every day!
When you call your local Earls and order for pick-up, you’ll automatically get 20% off all food (excluding Happy Hour). The restaurant group is also offering an additional 10% off food for healthcare workers and first responders who order for pick-up.
One detail to remember is that Earls is accepting contactless payment only for orders picked up from its operating restaurants.
If you don’t feel like leaving the house, why not stay in your sweatpants and get eats from Earls delivered on SkipTheDishes?
You can now also order alcohol from their delivery service! And when you order this way, you can get 50% off wine. Sit back and watch your latest go-to show with a drink in hand and some great food to pair with it.
