Surveillance footage shows a driver losing control of his vehicle and crashing into the windows at a Langley car dealership, damaging vintage cars.
The crash happened at around 1 a.m. on October 17 at the Original Applewood Motors on Fraser Highway in Langley.
The vehicle does not appear to slow down before it veers off and into the dealership showroom windows.
A driver in a white shirt is seen exiting the vehicle, shutting off the engine, and fleeing the scene.
“The store suffered structural damage, and a 1936 Pontiac, 1961 Cadillac, ZR1 Corvette were also badly damaged,” notes CBC Vancouver.
Early estimates for the damage are around the quarter-million mark.
The RCMP are investigating the incident, and they’ve also issued today a reminder of what to do if you are involved in a vehicle collision.
