A “number of people” have been stabbed in downtown Vancouver, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
VPD revealed the news in a short social media statement on X. Others have also shared photos of the aftermath, claiming the incident occurred at the 7/11 on Robson Street.
Folks driving will need to reroute as roads in the area are closed.

VPD has stated that the suspect has been shot, but their condition is unknown at this time. VPD adds that it will “provide more info when it’s available.”

The status of the victims is also currently unknown, but we’ve reached out to the VPD for more details and will update this article when we hear more.
“Please be patient with us, we’ll get it to you as soon as we can,” Sgt. Steve Addison told journalists at the scene looking for an update.
Daily Hive visited the intersection just after 12:30 pm to see traffic was backed up in the area. Robson is blocked between Homer and Hamilton streets.
