Downlow Chicken and Mister Ice Cream to launch collaboration July 13
Pour youself a BIG glass of milk, and prepare your tastebuds as best you can – two of Vancouver’s all-time favourite local makers are joining forces and it’s going to be nothing short of epic.

Commercial Drive’s beloved Nashville Hot Chicken spot Downlow Chicken Shack and Yaletown’s popular Mister Ice Cream are about to launch two mashup items.

Patrons can bite into the Jalapeño Honey Ice Cream Fried Chicken Skin Sando starting July 13 at DL Chicken, a combo of fried chicken skin crisps that serve as the sandwich buns and spicy, sweet, and creamy ice cream.
The chicken skin sando is enough to get us pumped on its own, but the DL Pineapple Ice Cream Sando is also dropping on the 13th. Get this sandwich dusted with DL’s signature hot dust in medium or hot, or just down it the classic way.

Folks can also get this sando sans chicken skin starting July 14 at DL Chicken, the regular Jalapeño Honey Ice Cream Sando comes with a Ritz cracker crust.
Both DL and Mister have come up with some stellar (and Insta-worthy) treats in the past, but these morsels might just take the cake.
