Canada's first self-serve boba shop has opened in Metro Vancouver

Move over frozen yogurt, a new self-serve sweet treat has come to Metro Vancouver. Canada’s first self-serve boba shop has just opened its doors, and it’s right here in Richmond, called Dollar Boba.
But it’s not just the self-serve aspect that should get you excited; it’s the fact that you can load up on unlimited toppings for just one price.
Customers simply choose which kind of tea or slush they want from the rotating menu, with a regular size costing $3.99 and a large costing $4.99 (though during its soft opening, it is offering 20% off drinks, so it may be cheaper when you visit). Currently, the store is offering 24 different varieties of tea or slush.

From there, you are off to the races and can pile on whichever toppings you want, with options ranging from pudding jelly and boba pearls to pink water chestnut popping boba and agar crystal pears.
You can also find grilled sausages on the menu, and the store has teased that ice cream will be available soon.
