Disney ignites magic for Celebration of Light 2016 (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

This was the show everyone was waiting for. For one night only, the imagineers responsible for designing the fireworks at the ‘Happiest Place On Earth’ came to Vancouver to put on a Disney show, representing the United States’ entry, just for Vancouverites.

The pyrotechnics team from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida put on the final show of this year’s Honda Celebration of Light fireworks competition with a soundtrack centred on the greatest cinematic themes and songs made and owned by Disney. This included “Let It Go” from Frozen, “The Circle Of Life” from The Lion King, and scores from Fantasia, Star Wars, and The Lone Ranger.
